What to expect when working with Summit

Wide Choices: Summit buys and sells a wide variety of new and used networking, server and storage products such from manufacturers such as Cisco, HP, Dell and Juniper. We can custom-configure them to your specifications.

Dependability: All the inventory we stock is fully tested by certified technicians. We audit, test and package all equipment to industry standards, backing everything by a Summit warranty. We also record and track all serial numbers.

Quick Response: Summit can ship most items within a day of receiving your order. We ship by FedEx and UPS, and can also ship via padded carrier.

Our Warranty

Summit Information Resources will replace any order placed directly with Summit, provided it is returned within one year from the date the products are received. Also, many of our Cisco product are covered by our Peak Select Lifetime Warranty.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

Service & Technician assistance will be implemented first when related to a hardware failure.

Only defective products are eligible for our RMA program. Once we have verified your request for an RMA with the valid serial number(s), you will be issued an RMA number.

All RMA numbers are valid for 20 days. Any product returned as defective but is tested as good will be treated as a customer-initiated return and the customer is responsible for any restocking fees that may apply.
Products that have a valid warranty will be accepted within that timeframe. Summit will issue a refund for the price of the product returned based on the guidelines above within 30 days from receipt of the RMA.

Equipment Maintenance

All of the refurbished equipment we sell is thoroughly tested and cleaned by highly trained Summit technicians and covered by either our one year warranty or Peak Select Lifetime Warranty. Our testing room and quality-control process means you can always count on quality equipment from Summit Information Resources.

Consign Equipment

Summit also provides consignment services backed by many years of experience in managing assets. Our technical staff specializes in testing and auditing networking equipment as well as servers and storage devices.

We will pick up your surplus or off-lease hardware and bring it to our facility.

After we audit and test it we will send you a detailed inventory report.

Then the equipment will be remarketed for top dollar.

Each month, Summit will send you a “sales out” report explaining in detail how much each piece of inventory sold for. You get a monthly check for your percentage of the sale of any items sold. This amount can also be applied as a credit for when you purchase new equipment with Summit.
