Summit Warranty and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

Summit Information Resources, Inc. will replace or refund any order placed directly with Summit, provided it is returned within 30 days from the date the products are received. Returns are subject to Summit's return guidelines below:

Contact your account manager to begin the Return of Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process.

  • Service / Technician assistance will be implemented first when related to a hardware failure.
  • Only defective products are eligible for our RMA program. Once we have verified your request for an RMA with the valid serial number(s), you will be issued an RMA Number.
  • All RMA Numbers are valid for 20 days. Product returned that is stated to be defective and is tested as good will be treated as a customer initiated return and you would be responsible for any restocking fees that would apply.
  • Products returned not related to product quality will be at Summit's discretion whether to accept the return with a restocking fee of 25% or refuse the return. Product must be in working condition and resalable. Product must match our serial number listed on a sales order within 15 days of request. Products returned outside of 15 days will be subject to current valuation in addition to restocking fee.
  • Products that have a valid warranty will be accepted within that timeframe.
  • Summit will issue a refund for the price of the product you return based on the above-referenced guidelines within 30 days from receipt of the RMA.
